I cherished Strawberry Shortcake dolls after I was once a child, and had many together with thing mores like a sleeping bag, stroller, bathing suit, and many others. I am lacking most of my originals, and having sold some old dolls online it in point of fact isn't the identical. They've either lost their scent, are in broken fieldes, or convey signs of age even though NIB. It's nice to have brand new dolls once more.
These appear similar to the uniques. There are details that vary, however now not very now noticeable to informal collectors. (For example, which dolls had flat arms and which didn't). Raspberry Tart was all the time my favorite, so it is nice to look her within the set. For some reason they selected to include the Party Pleaser Orange Blossom, and in the beginning I was once upset. But now I assume this one is lovabler than the unique outfit. Strawberry appears just like I needless to say her, so cute in the original sweet version rather than the "hipper" version of brand new 12 monthss. They odor in level of fact nice, identical to the uniques. The twenty fifth anniversary Cabbage Patch Kids have been scented with one thing that resembled dangerous strong fragrance, now nothing like the uniques. I'm satisfied this one is proper. There are little holes in the entrance window with the intention to smell the scents with out even opening the box. What a go again and forth back to childhood in the 80s with these dolls.
I think they should have incorporated the pets, or as a minimum Strawberry's cat, Custard. Other than that, it's a great nostalgia piece, a enjoyable toy to have should you needless to say them from the eightys, and likewise an ideal toy for children to play with now.

Very cute set general. The dolls scent just as I remember them, but the scent isn't as sturdy as I remember that. I used to be dissatisfied to search out that the dolls are bald underneath their hats, which used to ben't the case with the original dolls. For some cause, I was truly disenchanted via this!
As talked about in an previous evaluation, the pets aren't incorporated which is every other problem. Still, I think it's worth the cost if Strawberry Shortcake used to be a favourite from childhood.

Being a child of the eighty's, I needed to get these for my daughters especially because they love the brand new strawberry shortcake too. They odor similar to I remember that them. I noticed in any other evaluate that they mentioned these dolls had been bald under the hats? mine have beenn't bald. I know as a end result of my 2 yr old pulled off all the hats after I informed them to maintain it on, haha. I in point of fact love these...I'm so chuffed I discovered them right here. They are pretty actual to the unique dolls- right down to the scrumptious scents! I wish they offered the remaining dolls from the unique SSC gang- I would truly like to have them all new within their boxes.
